The Future of Artificial Intelligence in Cape Verde: Application for the Team4Tech Experience AI Cohort 2026

The Team4Tech Experience AI Cohort 2026 for NGOs in Africa represents a unique opportunity for Cape Verdean organisations which are seeking to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their operations and programmes. In an increasingly digital world, the ability to harness emerging technologies, such as AI, has become crucial to the sustainable development and effectiveness of NGOs. This programme, specifically designed for the African context, provides access to free education and training in AI, empowering NGOs to tackle complex challenges, optimise processes and better serve their communities.

Cape Verde, with its growing ambition to position itself as a technology hub in the region, stands to benefit enormously from this initiative. The application of AI tools could revolutionise sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture and environmental protection – areas in which many local NGOs already play a vital role. Imagine optimising the allocation of resources through predictive analytics, personalising learning for students in remote areas, or using AI to monitor ecosystems for more efficient management of natural resources. These are just some of the possibilities that this programme could unlock.

Taking part in the Team4Tech Experience AI Cohort 2026 is not just about acquiring technical skills; it is about building a knowledge network, sharing experiences with other African NGOs and developing innovative solutions tailored to local circumstances. The free training provided by Team4Tech ensures that a lack of financial resources does not act as a barrier for NGOs wishing to embark on this technological journey. It is, therefore, an investment in the human capital and digital infrastructure of the not-for-profit sector in Cape Verde.

We strongly encourage all Cape Verdean NGOs to consider this opportunity. The adoption of AI is not a question of ‘if’, but of ‘when’. Preparing organisations now means ensuring their long-term relevance and impact.

The deadline for applications is 9 April 2026.
