Dear readers and prospective Cape Verdean candidates, the Slovakia’s National Scholarship Programme It represents an unmissable opportunity for our country’s academic and scientific development. This initiative is designed to support students, PhD candidates, university lecturers, researchers and artists who wish to undertake studies or research placements in Slovakia, a country with a growing reputation in various fields of knowledge.
Taking part in this programme not only offers the chance to deepen one’s knowledge at leading European institutions, but also to forge valuable contacts and experience new cultures. For Cape Verde, this means equipping a new generation of professionals and academics with global skills, who will be able to return to our archipelago and make a significant contribution to its progress in key sectors such as science, technology, education and the arts.
The programme covers a range of expenses, including tuition fees, accommodation and a monthly allowance, depending on the scholarship holder’s status. It is therefore an excellent option for those seeking to fund their studies or research without the usual financial worries. Applicants will have access to Slovak universities and research centres with modern facilities and high-calibre research teams.
We strongly encourage all interested parties to explore the various fields of study and research on offer. Whether you are looking to undertake a Master’s degree, a PhD, a short-term research placement or artistic development, Slovakia could be the next crucial step in your academic and professional journey. This opportunity opens the door to the internationalisation of our academic community and to strengthening ties between Cape Verde and Europe. Do not miss this chance to enrich your journey and to bring new ideas and skills to the development of Cape Verde.
