Comunidade365 paid a visit to the Association for the Socio-Educational Development of Tira-Chapéu (ADESE), as part of its efforts to build relationships with and recognise the work of community organisations.

Officially founded on 12 January 2000, ADESE is active in the fields of sport, education and social work. The organisation has played an important role in the community and is also notable for running a nursery school that has welcomed children from neighbouring neighbourhoods.

During the visit, the Comunidade365 team had the opportunity to tour the facilities and learn about the work being carried out, as well as to discuss the association’s challenges and future projects with those in charge. ADESE has been promoting various community initiatives, such as talks and awareness-raising visits, and aims to expand its activities by reviving sporting activities, with the aim of providing healthy ways for children in the community to spend their time.
