It's comprehensive and engaging. Our online training program will see 12 young journalists from around the world immerse themselves in a 3-month paid mentorship with us! As a selected participant, you will be challenged and supported to publish 1 climate-related feature story every month on the Climate Tracker website. One story per month at $150USD per story, for three months.
Their stories will be shared and promoted through Climate Tracker's channels and networks.
Throughout, you'll also be part of a diverse media mentorship program, participating in a series of connected training sessions and collaborations covering social media engagement, data and visual journalism, and podcasting. A great opportunity to hone your new media skills to amplify your journalism and boost your marketability.

After the initial three months, Climate Tracker will select the 6 most impressive fellows, whose stories will have the chance to move on to the second phase! Three more months of paid storytelling.
Eligibility
Ideal candidates:
Minimum of 18-35 years of experience in journalism.
1 year of experience in journalism (minimum)
Have a hunger to improve as a journalist – this is a learning experience.
Have a history of writing quality climate stories?
Provide proof of your ability to take good quality photos.
