WeCare is a social enterprise based in Cape Verde, but working essentially through a digital model.

As a social enterprise, WeCare's mission is to support non-profit organisations (whether associations, cooperatives or foundations) in their organisational development by training their human resources.

We believe that empowering the people involved in these organisations will guarantee the skills needed to create social impact and contribute to achieving the sustainable development goals.

Assistance in writing projects for funding social development programmes (calls and tenders)

In its history, WeCare has had several achievements, but only in 2024 did WeCare reach several significant milestones, such as:

  • Publication of 461 funding, training and capacity-building opportunities.
  • Participation in 34 projects, both in Cape Verde and globally.
  • Completion of the Sport BootCamp programme, training more than 200 promoters.
  • Launch of the Community365 initiative.
  • Commitment to environmental sustainability, generating 4,358.1 kWh through solar panels, contributing to the reduction of CO₂ in the atmosphere.

These achievements reflect WeCare's ongoing commitment to sustainable social and environmental development.
