This initiative is designed to empower emerging African researchers who are tackling critical challenges in human health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme overview<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong><br>The grant aims to improve the research skills of emerging leaders in Africa who address significant health issues, supporting their development into leading researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What we offer:<\/strong><br>The scholarship includes a three- to nine-month placement at a leading research institution in the UK, Europe or Africa. In addition, fellows will receive support at their home institution before and after the placement. The programme offers up to \u00a347,000 in funding.<strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><br>The grant is open to early career researchers, including post-doctoral scientists and clinicians with advanced qualifications, who are nationals of and employed in Africa. Detailed eligibility criteria are available on the programme portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration process<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><br>Applicants are advised to read the guidance documents carefully before developing their proposals and starting their applications.
