By drawing on their knowledge and experience, the programme aims to support sustainable development in the partner countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Shaping Development-Oriented Migration\" facilitates short-term tasks that empower diaspora communities to make significant impacts by contributing to global development goals and promoting knowledge exchange. If you want to initiate change and support a future worth living for people in your country of origin, Diaspora2030 offers the opportunity to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Diaspora2030 website is administered by Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The services and funding opportunities presented here are mainly provided through the Programme Shaping Development-Oriented Migration (MEG), which is currently active in 15 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we offer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial Assistance:<\/strong>\u00a0Support for your expenses during the task.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Travelling expenses paid:<\/strong>\u00a0Cover for your travel costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Basic Insurance Package:<\/strong>\u00a0Insurance cover during your mission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reference services:<\/strong>\u00a0Connections with appropriate organisations interested in your experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Local Support:<\/strong>\u00a0Assistance from our team of coordinators during your assignment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Migration history:<\/strong>\u00a0currently lives in Germany and has a migration history from one of the following countries: Albania, Cameroon, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, India, Kosovo, Nepal, Serbia, Tunisia, Ukraine or Vietnam<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/opportunitiesforyouth.org\/2024\/07\/29\/professionals-in-germany-explore-sponsored-assignments-in-your-country-of-origin-with-diaspora2030\/#\">\u00a0Educational training<\/a>\u00a0:<\/strong>You have completed your vocational training or university degree in Germany, or your degree is recognised in Germany.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professional Experience:<\/strong>\u00a0At least five years of relevant professional experience in Germany or another OECD country in the area in which you wish to work during your assignment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assignment Plans:<\/strong>\u00a0Plan to carry out a short-term task of between two weeks and three months in an area related to development, especially in the priority areas of gender, climate protection or health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to register<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your application to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:diaspora2030@giz.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">diaspora2030@giz.de<\/a>&nbsp;.
