The first group of Regional Youth Champions (RYC) was created to champion the report's key recommendations for improving the health and well-being of young people at regional and national levels. RYC represents eight different regions based on the groupings used by the Sustainable Development Goals, including Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and West Asia, Central and South Asia, East and South-East Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand, Oceania, Europe and North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The role of the Champions is as follows, but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support the development of events, articles and other products led by DTH-Lab;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide insights and knowledge on the three strands of DTH-Lab's work;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with other RYC to provide written\/oral contributions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in building partnerships with key stakeholders and other youth networks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sharing strategic and innovative ideas that support DTH-Lab's global vision and mission;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as messengers and disseminators of DTH-Lab's work at regional level;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the main results are distributed on social media platforms such as Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, etc...;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Involved in partnerships to learn about scholarly communications in the digital health space, with an emphasis on understanding and contributing to the peer review process;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving the diversity and inclusion of young people in the #MyHealthFutures Youth Network;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take part in panel discussions, podcasts and other forms of knowledge-sharing platforms like young champions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stipend<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To support the work of the Regional Youth Champion, DTH-Lab will provide a monthly stipend of US$ 200 for the period 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025. RYC should plan to spend around 7 hours per month dedicated to this role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are between 18 and 30 years old at the time of enrolment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You live in the region you are running to represent for the full term.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Practical knowledge and\/or the ability to translate into other UN languages is an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have access to a bank account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Interests<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are passionate about global health governance, the future of health, digital health transformations, data solidarity and\/or UHC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They have similar fundamental values for digital health governance, such as democracy, solidarity, inclusion, equity and human rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are pursuing a professional career in health, STEM, international affairs and\/or governance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have experience or training in communication, advocacy, policy writing and\/or research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have leadership experience in promoting change and\/or innovation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training or experience in forward thinking or forecasting is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Networks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are part of a youth network and\/or have experience with youth networks at a regional and\/or local level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You use social networks to share knowledge and are well connected with other young people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have excellent practical knowledge of digital platforms and the use of technology to increase digital engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates should share an up-to-date CV and a brief expression of interest in becoming an RYC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc-mfEJNZ4WUevMRsl7LNTNzs7KO5V68D7yb6anP7_3hRccuw\/viewform?usp=sf_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to register<\/a><\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prazo: 18 de agosto de 2024 Est\u00e3o abertas as inscri\u00e7\u00f5es para o&nbsp;Programa Regional Youth Champions 2024 de Transforma\u00e7\u00e3o Digital para o Health Lab&nbsp;.
