The Migration Platform for Youth and Children (MYCP) is pleased to announce a new initiative aimed at elevating the voices and perspectives of young people in regional and international migration policy. This project is aligned with the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) process, ensuring that young people are at the forefront of discussions and decisions on migration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The GCM Youth Consultations aim to empower grassroots youth and youth-led organizations to act in accordance with the GCM's objectives. This initiative seeks to influence the GCM and other relevant political processes by showcasing the creativity, political solutions, and capabilities led by young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The GCM workflow is a fundamental component of MYCP's mission and will gain greater importance as we approach the 2026 International Migration Review Forum (IMRF). This project is a unique opportunity to mobilize young people and shape the future of GCM processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Operating globally, this project seeks to give young people and grassroots communities a voice in global decision-making, directly involving them in shaping their future. We are looking for passionate, talented, and dedicated young people to help make this vision a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The GCM Youth Consultations are part of a broader initiative focused on achieving the GCM's objectives, exploring alternatives to detention and promoting the learning and development of advocates and young migrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
