Its aim is to empower early-stage social entrepreneurs who are founders of organisations and initiatives that support women and girls across the continent. Recognising the unique challenges and needs associated with initiatives that address social issues, the incubator provides a support model that goes beyond traditional business support to global leadership and improved organisational sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who should apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Social entrepreneurs<\/strong>\u00a0under the age of 35.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have started an organisation or social project with no more than three years of support for women and girls in an African country. Exceptional social entrepreneurs in the conception phase are encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The organisation or idea must address critical social issues such as education, health, gender equality, environmental sustainability and poverty reduction, specifically for women and girls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The advantage of Her Africa's early-stage incubator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improved leadership and management skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will increase their self-awareness and resilience,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/opportunitiesforyouth.org\/2024\/08\/05\/her-africa-early-stage-incubator-program\/#\">&nbsp;communication<\/a>&nbsp;strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Greater organisational growth and sustainability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating organisations will benefit from greater operational efficiency, strategic planning, financial management and greater access to funding and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improved social impact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Through their actions, participants will report measurable improvements in the results of their activities and in the lives of women and girls in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Networking and Collaboration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will benefit from experienced professors, experts and fellows for guidance and strategic partnerships with NGOs, government agencies and private sector organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning and continuous improvement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will continue to pursue personal and professional growth through access to AFWAG's resources and alumni network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application deadline:<\/strong>\u00a024 August 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Notification of acceptance to successful candidates:<\/strong>\u00a0from 15 September 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start of the Incubator:<\/strong>\u00a014th October 2024<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To sign up, please click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/afwag.org\/her-africa-early-stage-incubator\/\">HERE<\/a>&nbsp;.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sobre O programa&nbsp;Her Africa Early Stage Incubator (HAESI)&nbsp;&nbsp;\u00e9 uma iniciativa pioneira lan\u00e7ada pela&nbsp;Alian\u00e7a para Mulheres e Raparigas (AFWAG)&nbsp;.
