{"id":7383,"date":"2024-08-05T10:24:02","date_gmt":"2024-08-05T11:24:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/?p=7383"},"modified":"2024-08-05T10:24:05","modified_gmt":"2024-08-05T11:24:05","slug":"micro-subsidios-para-apoiar-a-inclusao-digital-lgbti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/en\/bolsas-e-fundos\/micro-subsidios-para-apoiar-a-inclusao-digital-lgbti\/","title":{"rendered":"Micro-grants to support LGBTI digital inclusion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong>&nbsp;19th August 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ILGA World is inviting organisations working at local and\/or national level to submit project proposals to promote the digital inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Information on financing<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They will provide financial support to help develop 10 of these projects, issuing micro-grants of a maximum of 3,000 Swiss francs for each one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible projects<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Projects supported by these micro-grants must aim to\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reduce the impact of digital exclusion on LGBTI communities and organise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>empower rights holders to address local defence and movement-building gaps created by digital exclusion through training, technical support,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/research\/\">research<\/a>\u00a0and monitoring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>empower local and national organisations to conduct advocacy at various levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project proposals must\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be submitted by organisations led by or focused on the rights of people from different SOGIESC at local or national level, based in any country or territory in the world<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>include an outline of the proposed activities and describe how the project would benefit the target communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All the proposed projects must be carried out between 2 September and 15 November 2024, and the reports must be submitted before 5 December 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examples of projects that would be considered\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To better help you propose your projects, we've provided just a few examples of initiatives that could be considered for these micro-grants:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>purchase of devices and data packages for members or organisations of the grassroots LGBTI community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improving the accessibility of an organisation's online platforms and content to better serve members of the LGBTI community living with disabilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>offer material, psychological and legal support to LGBTI survivors of online harassment and gender-based violence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/security\/\">organising training to improve safety<\/a>\u00a0digital and literacy for local LGBTI communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hire translators and designers to make LGBTI content more accessible to local communities and overcome the predominance of some languages over others on the Internet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise awareness-raising campaigns or initiatives aimed at LGBTI people and communities in rural, remote or less connected areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Election criteria<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The call is open to organisations and\/or coalitions led by or focused on the rights of people of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) from any country or territory in the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The call is open to any organisation led by - or focused on - people's rights from different SOGIESC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Although they particularly encourage organisations from the Global South and East to submit their projects, groups seeking support through this micro-grant initiative can be based in any country or territory in the world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proposals submitted by a coalition of organisations are also eligible. Organisations may also submit more than one project proposal, although only one project proposal per organisation will be taken into consideration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Among the criteria for selecting projects to which micro-grants will be awarded, ILGA World will consider:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>relevance to the subject<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>engagement with under-represented populations in the LGBTI community, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LGBTI people living in rural or remote areas, or places with limited internet connectivity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LGBTI people with disabilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Racialised LGBTI people<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/women-gender\/\">Women<\/a>\u00a0lesbians, bisexuals, trans and intersex people<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/women-gender\/\"><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LGBTI sex workers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>previous experience in organising initiatives to support the digital inclusion of LGBTI or other communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>feasibility of the project between 2 September and 15 November 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>proven understanding by the proposing organisation(s) of how the intersectional dimensions of digital exclusion are affecting the communities they serve<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>key indicators on digital exclusion in the area or country targeted by the project - including those related to infrastructure, accessibility and gender<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ilga.org\/news\/call-micro-grants-application-supporting-lgbti-digital-inclusion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ILGA World<\/a>&nbsp;.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prazo:&nbsp;19 de agosto de 2024 A ILGA World est\u00e1 a convidar organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que trabalham a n\u00edvel local e\/ou nacional a apresentar propostas de projetos para promover a inclus\u00e3o digital de comunidades l\u00e9sbicas, gays, bissexuais, trans e intersexuais (LGBTI).
