{"id":7370,"date":"2024-08-02T10:51:40","date_gmt":"2024-08-02T11:51:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/?p=7370"},"modified":"2024-08-02T10:58:09","modified_gmt":"2024-08-02T11:58:09","slug":"convite-a-apresentacao-de-propostas-apoio-aos-operadores-culturais-em-africa-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/en\/bolsas-e-fundos\/convite-a-apresentacao-de-propostas-apoio-aos-operadores-culturais-em-africa-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for proposals: Support for Cultural Operators in Africa 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong>&nbsp;30th October 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Institut fran\u00e7ais offers grants to support artists and cultural operators from civil society in Africa, as well as the French cultural network, in particular by supporting creation and distribution projects and major events with a regional dimension on the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Main disciplines involved<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Architecture, Landscape and Urbanism, Street Arts, Circus, Dance, Design, Artistic training, Training for cultural professions, Puppets, Fashion, Museum and Heritage, Classical and contemporary music, Contemporary music and jazz, Intangible cultural heritage, Performance, Photography, Multidisciplinary, Theatre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Information on financing<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From \u20ac5,000 to \u20ac20,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Special attention will be paid to:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Projects with a regional dimension, i.e. involving several countries and partners on the continent (festival, biennial or platform inviting professionals, or collaborations and artistic exchanges with personalities from other countries on the continent).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects that highlight young generations, emerging scenes and new artistic practices in the field of contemporary African creation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects promoting an eco-responsible approach, which will offer an extended period of time for each of their dates as part of tours, for example (presentation + meeting time + additional workshops + training, etc.). Digital mobility will also receive special attention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects that pay attention to gender issues: projects led by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/women-gender\/\">women cultural operators, projects that highlight women artists, or projects that encourage diversity and gender equality.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible projects<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Projects eligible for support:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Festivals and major cultural events (biennials, professional platforms, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support for artistic creation for projects with regional or international ambitions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publicising and distributing projects: exhibitions, workshops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovative and eco-responsible digital projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regional tours of projects by artists or companies based on the African continent or co-creation co-operation projects in the various fields of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/arts-culture\/\">arts<\/a>\u00a0performing arts, music, circus and street arts.
