{"id":7324,"date":"2024-08-01T09:18:18","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T10:18:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/?p=7324"},"modified":"2024-08-01T09:18:20","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T10:18:20","slug":"forum-de-politicas-da-sociedade-civil-reunioes-anuais-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/en\/bolsas-e-fundos\/forum-de-politicas-da-sociedade-civil-reunioes-anuais-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Civil Society Policy Forum (Annual Meetings 2024)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong>&nbsp;19th August 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In co-operation with the Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) Working Group, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have launched a call for proposals for a CSPF in Washington, DC, with hybrid components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CSPF will take place in parallel with the forthcoming Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the IMF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Policy Forum&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/civil-society\/\">Civil Society<\/a>&nbsp;(CSPF) has become an integral part of the Meetings, providing an open space for CSOs to dialogue and exchange views with World Bank and IMF staff, their peers, government delegations and other stakeholders on a wide range of topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The World Bank and IMF review committee, with the help of the CSPF Working Group, will select proposals that contribute to a diverse and comprehensive forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>O\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/latest-funds-for-ngos\/\">call for proposals<\/a>\u00a0is open to civil society organisations (CSOs) and CSO networks from all over the world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The World Bank and the IMF place a high priority on involving civil society. The CSPF, held twice a year, is the largest platform for engagement between CSOs, the World Bank and the IMF on important issues\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/development\/\">development<\/a>\u00a0. The World Bank and IMF review committee, with the help of the CSPF Working Group, will select proposals that contribute to a diverse and inclusive forum. To ensure inclusion and diversity, they ask that each organisation sponsor only one session. Proposals sponsored jointly with other CSOs - especially from different regions of the world - are highly encouraged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CSOs include non-governmental organisations, community groups, trade unions, peoples' movements\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/indigenous-communities\/\">indigenous<\/a>\u00a0Representatives of religious organisations, professional associations, foundations, think tanks, charities and other non-profit organisations.
