CIFAR's Women in Research Leadership Development Symposium brings together exceptional early-career researchers from across sub-Saharan Africa, in any academic discipline, to strengthen their leadership skills through facilitated training; broaden their professional networks; develop their capacity for cutting-edge interdisciplinary research and collaboration; and receive mentorship from among Africa's top women research leaders. This event will take place from 28 to 30 January 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CIFAR Women in Research Leadership Development Symposium aims to address the unique needs of young African academics (especially women) to break down barriers to academic careers and make high-impact contributions as research leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take part in facilitated leadership training.
