The Early Childhood Development Action Network (ECDAN) is pleased to announce the call for applications for its 2024 Knowledge Fellows programme. This flagship programme offers a unique opportunity for emerging leaders to gain professional development, mentorship and valuable networking connections, while contributing to impactful projects that align with ECDAN's learning objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">programme overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In its fourth year, the ECDAN Knowledge Fellows programme is designed to support early-career ECD professionals globally. Participants will take part in a project that intersects children's needs with climate action plans, a critical focus given the current polycrisis and the urgent need to tackle climate change. The programme is based on the belief that nurturing early-career professionals will not only increase their interest in and commitment to the field of ECD, but also bring new perspectives to the global conversation on ECD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bag details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Duration<\/strong>\u00a0: Nine months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Commitment<\/strong>\u00a0Approximately ten hours per week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mode<\/strong>\u00a0: Remote, allowing scholars to work from anywhere in the world<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mentoring<\/strong>\u00a0Each fellow will be accompanied by an experienced IPR professional who will provide guidance and support throughout the fellowship, together with the ECDAN Secretariat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Election criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered for the ECDAN Knowledge Fellows programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Advanced Degree<\/strong>\u00a0Must have received an advanced diploma within the last three years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Doctorate status<\/strong>\u00a0: You shouldn't be writing a doctoral dissertation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collaboration on projects<\/strong>\u00a0: Willing to co-create a project with ECDAN that addresses climate change and the needs of young children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Commitment<\/strong>\u00a0: Ability to devote approximately ten hours a week over a period of nine months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are being reviewed continuously until the deadline of Friday 31 May 2024. Early career IPR professionals interested in contributing to climate action and child development are encouraged to apply.
