The Program&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/youth-adolescents\/\">Youth<\/a>&nbsp;The Hub Seed Grant provides financial and project support for Young Leaders to implement, develop, and present unique initiatives that address youth priorities. Young Leaders are guided in reporting, monitoring and evaluating grants, and communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IAS will support a new group of five Young Leaders with seed grants to scale up HIV-related innovation projects that address a locally defined need. Each Young Leader must be affiliated with and logistically supported by an organization working on HIV and\/or sexual health issues.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/health\/\">health<\/a>&nbsp;and reproductive rights or related areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits of the programme<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As part of the Youth Hub&#039;s Seed Grant Program, they will support selected Young Leaders with a customized capacity-building curriculum through a series of workshops on monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and communications conducted through the Youth Hub. They will provide Young Leaders with networking opportunities for current and future projects.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/fellowships\/\">Scholarship<\/a>&nbsp;to participate in AIDS 2024<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>During the program, the selected Young Leaders will have the opportunity to participate in AIDS 2024, the 25th edition of the conference.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/events\/\">Conference<\/a>&nbsp;International Conference on AIDS, in Munich,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/germany\">Germany<\/a>&nbsp;From July 22nd to 26th, 2024. The IAS will cover the registration costs as well as the costs of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/tourism-travel\/\">travelling<\/a>&nbsp;, accommodation and daily costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inclusion in the 2024 Young AIDS Leaders Program<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Young Leaders Programme is offered at the International AIDS Conference and the IAS Conference on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/science-and-technology\/\">Science<\/a>&nbsp;The HIV program aims to ensure that the voices of young people living with HIV, young activists, and young researchers are heard at international meetings. The dedicated program offers young people opportunities to strengthen their skills.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/research\/\">investigation<\/a>&nbsp;and advocacy to support capacity building. Those selected for the Youth Hub Seed Grant Program will have the opportunity to participate in the AIDS 2024 Young Leaders Program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Individual mentoring in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The selected Young Leaders will be supported by a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) consultant to develop their MEL capacity and capture key developments in their projects and professional growth. The consultant will hold individual meetings with each Young Leader and their mentor to determine each Young Leader&#039;s specific needs and tailor support accordingly. The consultant will also conduct two workshops to support the entire group in meeting grant reporting requirements. Mentors from the host organization will also play a strong supporting role in the growth of the You Leaders MEL.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Training for public speaking<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They believe that effective communication is a key component of leadership. Selected Young Leaders will have at least one opportunity to speak in public during the grant period. They understand that public speaking can be stressful, so they offer training and mentoring to support confident public speaking and effective project promotion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exclusive networking opportunities for changemakers.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The selected Young Leaders will join a community of over 670 IAS change agents \u2013 researchers, advocates, healthcare providers and others \u2013 who will be selected to lead an evidence-based response to HIV that puts people first.
