They have been able to showcase their collections on the catwalk as well as on exhibition platforms designed to facilitate links between the designers and industry stakeholders, including the press, investors, manufacturers and buyers. As well as showcasing platforms, the programme also includes mentoring and networking sessions between the designers and leading international industry experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Categories<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected designers will fall into one of two categories: Main Runway and Bloom Runway<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Top Catwalk Designers (5 Slots)<\/strong>\u00a0: Portugal Fashion Week's main catwalk is an international platform open to designers and labels that have produced at least five womenswear, menswear or unisex collections. The project is open to invited designers and labels who, in addition to the general criteria, fulfil the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong in the industry with at least 5 years in the industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A clear understanding of the fashion business and its value chain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovative approach to the challenges of garment production on the continent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to expand its production capacity and supply global markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bloom Catwalk Designers (5 Slots):<\/strong>\u00a0BLOOM Portugal Fashion is a platform for young designers and is open to designers under the age of 35 who have produced at least two womenswear, menswear or unisex collections and who, in addition to the
