The 17-week accelerator programme is powered by ShEquity Partners, an investment company focused on African women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ShEquity offers smart investments for innovative and impactful businesses led by women in sub-Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is run in partnership with MBC Africa to address the current gender funding gap by making women-led businesses investment-ready, while equipping them with the skills, technical and venture-building support needed to scale their ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its creation, the programme has run three cohorts of 30 participants each in 10 countries in the ECOWAS region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants in the accelerator programme are open to obtaining funding from ShEquity and other related investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the programme, high-performance ventures are recommended for investment, which can range from US$ 50,000 to US$ 250,000, as well as additional support for post-investment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to enrol:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Women-led businesses based in the ECOWAS region can apply&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sheba.acceleratorapp.co\/application\/new\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This portal is open to candidates from the English-speaking region.
