{"id":4396,"date":"2023-09-29T09:57:12","date_gmt":"2023-09-29T10:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/?p=4396"},"modified":"2023-09-29T09:57:14","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T10:57:14","slug":"convite-a-apresentacao-de-candidaturas-lagos-cares-grant-para-mpme-de-n100k-ate-n2-5m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/en\/bolsas-e-fundos\/convite-a-apresentacao-de-candidaturas-lagos-cares-grant-para-mpme-de-n100k-ate-n2-5m\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for applications: Lagos Cares Grant for MSMEs (from N100k to N2.5M)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Lagos CARES application portal is now open!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lagos COVID-19 Recovery Action and Economic Stimulus (CARES) Programme is a state-level intervention that seeks to mitigate the local effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic at the state level by protecting the livelihoods of existing and newly poor and vulnerable households and supporting the recovery of local economic activity, especially among MSMEs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is made up of 3 Results Areas (RAs) as defined below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 RA1 - Focus on Social Protection<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 RA2 - Focuses on Agriculture and;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 RA3 - Focus on Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants fall into three categories;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>R. Subsidy<\/strong>&nbsp;Credit: Provides credit to co-finance up to 40% of new loans granted to companies by qualified financial institutions after the start of the COVID-19 crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Micro-enterprises: Up to #100,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SME: Up to 2.5 million<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B. Operations Subsidy: This grant<\/strong>&nbsp;is intended to support operating expenses after the start of Covid-19. This grant aims to incentivise MSEs to reach their pre-COVID 19 employment level. The grant would cover operational costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operating grants for MSMEs covering up to 50% of any verifiable\/documented monthly operating cost for 6 months, including but not limited to staff salaries; documented utilities; documented private security expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Micro-enterprises: Up to #150,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SMEs: Up to #2.5M<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C.
