The YALI West Africa Regional Leadership Center, Accra, is pleased to announce the selection process and criteria for Cohort 46 (on-site). This program is designed to empower emerging leaders like you and equip you with the skills and knowledge to make a lasting impact in your community and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Merit-based selection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selection process for Cohort 46 (in-person) is an open, merit-based competition. We believe in giving all deserving candidates an equal opportunity to participate. Here&#039;s how the selection process works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application review<\/strong>All eligible applications will be carefully reviewed by our selection panel. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Selection of pre-selected candidates: The pre-selected candidates<\/strong>&nbsp;Candidates will be selected based on their demonstrated leadership in public service, business and entrepreneurship, or civic engagement. If you are actively involved in public or community service, volunteering, or mentoring, you are exactly who we are looking for.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interviews<\/strong>Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews to better assess their suitability for the program. We are interested in individuals who can work effectively in diverse groups, respect differing opinions, and possess strong social and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Positive Attitude<\/strong>An energetic and positive attitude is highly valued in our program. We believe that an optimistic outlook can drive positive change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Specialization<\/strong>Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge, interest, and professional experience in their chosen sector\/track.
