These one-year scholarships of US$ 25,000 support temporary academic positions at higher education institutions anywhere in the world, where IIE-SRF scholars can continue their work in safety. In most cases, IIE-SRF fellows are eligible to apply for a second and final year of fellowship support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2002, IIE-SRF has received more than 3,000 requests for assistance from scholars in more than 100 countries. We have awarded IIE-SRF scholarships to 1,059 scholars from 62 countries, placing them in 470 host partner institutions in 55 countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VALUE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A one-year research and\/or teaching commitment at a higher education institution in a secure location anywhere in the world;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a grant of up to US$ 25,000 (most awards are eligible for renewal for a second and final year);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>individual health insurance cover;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>financing the relocation to the host institution;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support for professional development through resource guides and access to academic networks; CV and cover letter review; reference letters; career mentoring and advice on post-fellowship opportunities; and (in some cases) financial support for conference attendance and language training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>opportunities through IIE-SRF or partner events, media or other venues to share or promote the scholar's academic work and\/or talk about their country of origin;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>dedicated support from IIE-SRF and its partners - before, during and after the scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The IIE-SRF accepts applications from professors, researchers and public intellectuals who face threats and cannot continue their work in their home countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academics from any country and in any academic field or discipline can qualify.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hold a doctorate or higher degree in their field and have significant experience in teaching and\/or research at a university, college or other higher education institution;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have an established record of published research;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>demonstrate superior academic achievement or promise;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are facing or have recently fled immediate and targeted threats to their lives and\/or careers in their countries of origin or residence;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>will benefit their home and\/or host academic communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEADLINE:&nbsp;<\/strong>Not specified<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register and for more information&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scholarrescuefund.org\/applicants\/eligibility-criteria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">go here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>O Fundo de Resgate Acad\u00eamico do Instituto de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional (IIE-SRF) \u00e9 o \u00fanico programa global que organiza, financia e apoia bolsas de estudo para acad\u00eamicos amea\u00e7ados e deslocados em institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino superior parceiras em todo o mundo.
