Then we invite you to apply for an International Climate Protection Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you're a potential leader, you'll do a one-year research project in Germany as part of your scholarship; if you're a postdoc, long-term academic research (12-24 months). It should focus on combating climate change, adaptation strategies, the preservation of ecosystems and biodiversity or the sustainable use of seas and oceans. Sustainability themes related to natural resources, efficient resource consumption or urban development are also welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VALUE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We offer you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a monthly stipend of \u20ac2,170, \u20ac2,470 or \u20ac2,670 in the programme line for potential leaders - depending on their training and career level; a monthly stipend of \u20ac2,670 in the programme line for postdoctoral researchers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>individual support during your stay in Germany<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>additional financial support, for example to accompany family members, for travelling expenses, for full private health insurance or for a German course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a three-week introductory event where you can network with other climate protection fellows, visit companies and research institutions and take part in cultural events in Germany<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>extensive alumni sponsorship, in particular to support long-term connections with their co-operation partners in Germany throughout their professional careers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite you to apply for an International Climate Protection Fellowship if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>explore issues in the natural or engineering sciences or address legal, economic, health-related or societal aspects of climate change<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are citizens of a non-European developing or transition country and predominantly live and work there<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have initial experience in a leadership role and corresponding leadership skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>very good knowledge of English and\/or German<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEADLINE:&nbsp;<\/strong>1st February 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register and obtain information,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.humboldt-foundation.de\/en\/apply\/sponsorship-programmes\/international-climate-protection-fellowship\">click here.<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Est\u00e1 a trabalhar acad\u00e9mica ou praticamente na prote\u00e7\u00e3o do clima ou na conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos relevantes para o clima no seu pa\u00eds de origem \u2013 um pa\u00eds em desenvolvimento ou em transi\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o europeu?
