The aim of the Energy Globe Award is to present successful sustainable projects to a global audience and to demonstrate that, for most of our environmental problems, viable solutions are already available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects submitted from more than 180 countries take part in the Energy Globe Awards every year. Participation is open to all projects that save our environment, such as conserving resources, improving air and water quality, energy efficiency and renewable energies and connected areas. In addition, projects that focus on raising awareness in these areas will be eligible to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Categories<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The categories are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>land<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Air<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New special category: Sustainable Start-Up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recognition from international environmental experts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media exposure of your efforts to save the world<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connections with prominent environmental activists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Setting an example for others \/ Being a role model for others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free participation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any company, organisation (i.e. NGO, club, school, university), individual or public authority that contributes to climate change and other environmental issues can apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It awards projects in the categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth and Sustainable Start-Ups. They are looking for projects that provide solutions to air, soil and water pollution, apply renewable energies and increase energy efficiency, demonstrate the sustainable use of our planet's resources and contribute to environmental education. No project is too big or too small!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An applicant can submit more than one project. A project can be submitted in any country, regardless of whether they have awarded a project in that country before.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation is free of charge. The registration language is English or German.
