The program offers support to women pursuing full-time graduate or postdoctoral studies in the United States for women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents and who intend to return to their home country to pursue a professional career. A limited number of awards are available for study outside the U.S. (excluding the applicant&#039;s country of origin) for women who are members of Graduate Women International.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must have obtained the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor&#039;s degree by the application deadline and must have applied to the proposed institutions of study by the time of application. Recipients are selected based on academic performance and demonstrated commitment to women and girls.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VALUE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educational expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Living expenses. Care for a dependent child.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel expenses for professional meetings, conferences, or seminars that do not exceed 10% of the total grant.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Having citizenship in a country other than the U.S. or possessing a non-immigrant visa if residing in the U.S. is not eligible. Women who are currently, or expect to be during the fellowship year, a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or dual citizen with the U.S. and another country are not eligible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess an academic degree (obtained in the U.S. or abroad) equivalent to a U.S. bachelor&#039;s degree completed by the application deadline.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They intend to dedicate themselves full-time to the proposed academic plan during the scholarship year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They intend to return to their country of origin to pursue a professional career after completing their studies.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be proficient in English and confirm proficiency by submitting one of the Required Components, which include certain English proficiency exams, transcripts from English-language institutions, or a written statement verifying that English is the applicant&#039;s native language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates for master&#039;s\/first professional degree and doctoral programs must have applied by the AAUW application deadline to an accredited institution of study for the scholarship year and must indicate the name of the institution in their international scholarship application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEADLINE:&nbsp;<\/strong>November 15, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register and for more information,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aauw.org\/resources\/programs\/fellowships-grants\/current-opportunities\/international\/\">click here.<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As Bolsas Internacionais da AAUW existem desde 1917.
