Apply now for a place on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/opportunitydesk.org\/2023\/07\/19\/glf-landscape-leadership-workshop-2023\/\">Landscape Leadership Workshop 2023<\/a>&nbsp;and embark on a transformative journey towards landscape leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Co-designed by the Global Landscapes Forum, Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) and Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN), this workshop will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of the GLF Hybrid Conference Nairobi 2023: A New Vision for the Earth. This immersive experience will bring together like-minded students, young professionals, experts and community-minded individuals from across Africa, creating a vibrant, multicultural community dedicated to driving impactful and transformative change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CDKN, in partnership with GLF and YIL, is launching a grant along with peer-to-peer learning, mentoring and training opportunities to support the participation of underrepresented youth voices in global conversations and understanding of climate justice. As part of the application for the Landscape Leadership Workshop, you can also apply to be considered for this grant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If selected, you will receive $ 2,000 to work towards realising your vision of a just climate future.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition, you will be part of a group of young artivists, activists, community-orientated individuals and change agents from the majority world (predominantly from Africa and including scholars from Indonesia and Brazil).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fellows will be encouraged to take part in various events, peer learning and training opportunities over a six-month period to grow and share their existing knowledge, experience and learning among the group and more widely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop is for you if you are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A student, young professional, expert or visionary;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between 18 and 35 years old;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A citizen of an African country;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passionate defender of prosperous peoples and landscapes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be limited places on the workshop.
