Global Action Circles (GACs) are peer-to-peer learning days organised by YxY's youth hosts, where small groups of young people and adults meet every fortnight around a theme related to education and a personal learning issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each person at the GAC arrives with their own learning question that explores, deepens and prototypes solutions for the duration of their learning journey and for many beyond. CAGs are therefore intergenerational, while remaining youth-led and youth-centred. The GACs are a uniquely \"glocal\" experience that allows participants to harness the power of global diversity and solidarity to promote local initiatives, and culminate in a final presentation at our annual YxY Festival of Learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This programme is a collective learning journey for all involved, from guests to participants, it provides the supported and guided space for young people and adult allies to bring out their true, full and curious selves to develop their capacities as activists and agents of change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From theory to practice, GACs allow you to explore your radical curiosities, guiding you as you find clarity in the questions you ponder with a community of humans dedicated to understanding and navigating our very complex and judgemental world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing lifelong connections, gaining a committed learning community, developing your capabilities and defining a clear path of action for your radical imaginings are some of the many positive outcomes this programme offers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidate must be:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Young people aged 15 to 26;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An adult ally (27 years+);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Committed to learning and growth;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passionate about transforming education and learning;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to commit to attending sessions every fortnight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the Global Action Circles (GACs) programme, each participant must create a showcase project to share their learnings with others. The showcase project can be a presentation, a video, a podcast, a blog post or any other creative format. The showcase is a great opportunity for participants to share their learnings with others and inspire them to take action.
