Progress is currently being made in the production of green hydrogen, for example, innovative electrolysis technologies, systems integration and industrial hydrogen technologies, such as storage, distribution and application areas, as well as the development of fuel cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, a scholarship is available in the area, as specified:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Green Hydrogen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Information on financing<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The grant amount(s) is EUR 200,000 per year for 1 year, or any other amount or period that will be determined based on the recommendation of the research grant committees.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/awards\/\">award<\/a>&nbsp;he can&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/latest-funds-for-ngos\/\">finance<\/a>&nbsp;The grant covers all or part of the proposed project and for all or part of the requested period. Grants may be awarded based on conditional milestones set out in the Research Grant Agreement. If the applicant is not selected in the category for which the application was originally submitted, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/germany\">Germany<\/a>The organization reserves the right, subject to its sole discretion and compliance with applicable Terms and Conditions, to award a research grant in a different category to the applicant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Merck is a science-oriented organization and conducts its business in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/health\/\">health<\/a>life sciences and electronics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Science and technology are at the heart of everything they do, driving innovations that allow us to contribute to a sustainable future. In this endeavor, they seek research proposals in the area of green hydrogen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Progress is currently being made in areas such as\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>green hydrogen production, for example, innovative electrolysis technologies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integration of systems and industrial hydrogen technologies, for example, in the areas of storage, distribution and application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>development of fuel cells.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The proposals submitted must include a proof of concept (Technology Readiness Level 3) in any of the areas above and describe the innovativeness of the proposal, as well as the impact on the future implementation of green hydrogen supply for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Merck research fellowship program is open to scientists at all career stages who are affiliated with any research-based institution, university, or company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the first phase of the research grant application process, candidates submit their application containing only non-confidential information.
