{"id":3506,"date":"2023-03-28T10:04:45","date_gmt":"2023-03-28T11:04:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/?p=3506"},"modified":"2023-03-28T10:04:47","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T11:04:47","slug":"bolsas-de-conservacao-na-africa-subsaariana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/en\/bolsas-e-fundos\/bolsas-de-conservacao-na-africa-subsaariana\/","title":{"rendered":"Conservation Fellowships in Sub-Saharan Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>O\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/latest-funds-for-ngos\/\">Fund<\/a>\u00a0he Jana Robeyst Trust Fund (JRTF) is currently accepting applications for its Conservation Small Grants which provide financial resources to early career biologists\/conservationists to carry out vital conservation work and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/research\/\">research<\/a>\u00a0in Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Financing Information<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Small grants will be awarded up to a maximum of 1,500 euros.<\/li><li>Successful and unsuccessful candidates are welcome to reapply 12 months after submission.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Which project is eligible for funding?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The eligible project will have a clear conservation value and be based in a sub-Saharan African country.<\/li><li>Preference will be given to elephant-related projects.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/education\/\">Projects<\/a>\u00a0education will also be considered.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/tourism-travel\/\">The<\/a>\u00a0travel costs to present the project at a conference or take part in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/events\/\">workshop<\/a>\u00a0\/ training programme will also be considered.<\/li><li>Purchase of field equipment if it is essential for completing the fieldwork.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The JRTF aims to provide relatively small levels of funding for ongoing projects or pilot programmes with a clear conservation value.<\/li><li>This funding programme is open to individuals or organisations for projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
