Photographers Without Borders is a global community of photographers and filmmakers committed to telling stories that make change, the Revolutionary Storyteller Grant has announced. The grant, which can be applied for HERE until 31 January 2022, will help shine a light on photographic projects that support grassroots movements, frontline movements and initiatives that have meaningful goals to protect Mother Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Five beneficiaries will be honoured and receive $5,000 to support the creation of an impact photography project and community exhibition of the work. In addition, the beneficiaries will also receive a behind-the-scenes video, a campaign to support the project's impact objectives and support from the PWB team along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone from anywhere in the world can apply for the grant and, as stated on the grant website, \"Storytellers from the communities in which they work, and storytellers who demonstrate lasting relationships with the communities they work with, will be prioritised for this grant. 3 of the 5 grants are prioritised for PWB members, while 2 of the 5 are open to non-members.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Photographer, storyteller, conservationist and activist speaker Danielle Da Silva is the founder of the organisation Photographers Without Borders. Da Silva was also a member of Alpha Female's inaugural class, where she worked with mentor and Sony artist Cristina Mittermeier to use the opportunity to make an impact with emotional calls to action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
