This year, JFD will once again reward women from Europe and Africa for their creativity, audacity and innovation through three award categories: Entrepreneur, Intrapreneur and Junior, each of which will include a European and an African winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking its commitment even further, JFD has also chosen to place the issue of the gender investment gap in projects led by Women in Digital at the center of its agenda. \u201cInvest in Her\u201d will therefore be the main theme of the 2022-2023 program, which will bring together women leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, consultants, and the media in the coming months to improve and promote investment in women in technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who can apply for the Les Margaret Awards?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Les Margaret Awards are dedicated to women citizens of a European or African country who place innovation at the heart of their actions and have thus developed a digital project, across all sectors, that addresses one or more social and environmental issues: a disruptive innovation that creates jobs and value for our economies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Candidates can apply in three categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Entrepreneur: for women who are founders or co-founders of tech startups;<\/li><li>Intrapreneur: for women working for companies that have developed an innovative project in agreement with their employer while remaining employed;<\/li><li>Junior: for girls between the ages of 7 and 18 who have an idea, a concept, or a startup project that addresses a problem through the application of technology, or who have developed a prototype (robot, game, app, etc.) using one or more technologies.<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the rewards for Les Margarets?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les Margarets in the Entrepreneur and Intrapreneur categories will benefit from the JFD Acceleration Program: media exposure worth \u20ac1 million over one year, opportunities to speak at major international events, digital equipment, coaching\/mentoring sessions with JFD partners, and funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les Margaret Juniors will receive personalized support for the development of their projects, digital equipment, and a scholarship worth 1000 euros. They will also be mentored and trained by JFD partners and benefit from high media exposure. \u201cThrough their ability to take risks, women entrepreneurs are at the heart of value creation in our societies. At JFD and through the Les Margaret Awards, we celebrate these women who are building the businesses of tomorrow, those who are changing the world,\u201d said Delphine Remy-Boutang, founder &amp; CEO of JFD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application form is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/joinjfd.com\">joinjfd.com<\/a> until <strong>January 9, 2023 <\/strong>(23:59 GMT+2). The Les Margaret Awards jury will meet on February 9th to select the 2023 winners.
