Journalists eager for growth and deeply committed to the future of journalism spend an academic year in Ann Arbor to access the resources of a world-class university and immerse themselves in a journalism project. Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to, honing professional skills, addressing a challenge faced by your newsroom, researching data and surveys for a long-term reporting project or developing a journalistic venture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are looking for a diverse range of journalists, including reporters, editors, data specialists, visual journalists, audio producers, engagement specialists, designers, developers, entrepreneurs and organisational change agents.
If you're not a full-time journalist, most of your work should be in journalism. They don't consider full-time academics, PR writers, in-house trade writers, lobbyists, public lawyers or those pursuing a degree.
If you are a US citizen, apply as a US candidate, even if you work in another country or for a non-US news organisation.
