{"id":2347,"date":"2022-11-07T09:33:21","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T10:33:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/?p=2347"},"modified":"2022-11-07T09:33:23","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T10:33:23","slug":"17a-rodada-do-fundo-para-a-democracia-das-nacoes-unidas-subsidios-de-ate-250-000-usd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/en\/bolsas-e-fundos\/17a-rodada-do-fundo-para-a-democracia-das-nacoes-unidas-subsidios-de-ate-250-000-usd\/","title":{"rendered":"UN Democracy Fund Round 17: Grants of up to 250,000 USD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Deadline<\/strong>\u00a030 November 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 17th Round of the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF) was launched to support projects that strengthen the voice of civil society, promote human rights and encourage the participation of all groups in democratic processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Areas<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects fall into one or more of the six areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/youth-adolescents\/\"><\/a>Youth participation<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/women-gender\/\"><\/a>Gender Equality<\/li><li>Strengthening civil society's interaction with the government<\/li><li>Rule of law and human rights<\/li><li>Media and freedom of information<\/li><li>Electoral processes<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Financing information<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicants must request an amount between US$ 100,000 and US$ 250,000 for any proposal<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible Beneficiaries<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>UNDEF funds projects implemented by non-UN organisations, non-individuals, profit-making entities or governments. Eligible applicants must be duly constituted nationally or internationally and have legal personality.<\/li><li>In the project proposal phase, you must indicate the type of organisation requesting funding:<ul><li>Civil Society Organisations and Non-Governmental Organisations engaged in democracy promotion<\/li><li>Independent and Constitutional Bodies,<\/li><li>Global and regional intergovernmental bodies, organisations and associations other than the United Nations<\/li><li>UNDEF gives priority to Civil Society Organisations and Non-Governmental Organisations. The organisation must be legally constituted. UN accreditation is not a prerequisite for applying for UNDEF funding.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>UNDEF will invite proposals for projects that take place in only one country (local) or take place in several specific states within a region or sub-region (regional) or that intend to operate at a global level (global).
