About the Summit<\/strong>
The 2022 YSEALI Summit will take place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia<\/strong>, from 5 to 9 December 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of this year's summit is the economic empowerment<\/strong> . The ASEAN region is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Young people under the age of 35 - who represent 65% of the ASEAN population - have enormous potential to drive sustainable economic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship in their own communities and across the region and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout our three-day high-energy summit, 150 YSEALI alumni<\/strong> will be joined by leading experts and mentors from around the world to explore this topic through dialogue, site visits, networking and the creation of collaborative solutions. But that's not all: participants will also develop new leadership skills, enjoy cultural activities, build lasting professional connections and friendships and much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility requirements<\/strong>
The YSEALI Summit is only open to YSEALI Alumni.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that, in order to be eligible, candidates must have taken part in of at least one of the following programmes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*YSEALI Regional Workshops
*YSEALI academic and professional scholarship programme
*YSEALI Seeds for the Future Small donations competition
*YSEALI Academy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other eligibility requirements are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Have to 18 to 35 years old<\/strong> at the time of registration and the Summit (i.e. be 18 by 16 October 2022 and under 35 by 9 December 2022).
*Be citizen and resident<\/strong> from: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor or Vietnam. You must currently live in one of these countries to be eligible.
*Fluency in English<\/strong> spoken and written .
*Currently has a valid passport<\/strong> with at least 6 months validity or plans to have one by 1 November 2022.
*They were vaccinated<\/strong> against the Covid-19 virus (i.e. at least two doses of a two-dose vaccine or at least one dose of a single-dose vaccine, with official documentation. Participants are also strongly encouraged to receive a booster dose, if available).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to apply<\/strong>
The inscription must be handed in on Sunday, 16th October 2022<\/strong> The deadline is 23.59 Phnom Penh time. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted - so sign up soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
