On 26 May, the Comunidade365 programme welcomed a visit from the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Sport Club Figueirense (ASCF). The ASCF is a football club based in Figueira da Horta, on the island of Maio, and was founded on 6 October 2010. Since its inception, the association has played an important role in promoting sport and local community development.<\/p>\n
ASCF began its competitive history in 2015, in the Second Division on the island of Maio. In the 2017\/2018 season, it won the Second Division title, securing its return to the top flight of regional football. In 2019, it enjoyed one of its best seasons in Maio\u2019s First Division, reaching the league final with 28 points and 20 goals scored.<\/p>\n
The club continued to make its mark on the national sporting scene and, in 2022, distinguished itself by finishing as runners-up in the Cape Verde Cup. In 2023, it also secured qualification for the National Championship. <\/p>\n

On 26 May, the Comunidade365 programme welcomed a visit from the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Sport Club Figueirense (ASCF).<\/p>\n
The visit provided an opportunity to present the Comunidade365 programme, an initiative aimed at promoting and supporting the certification of organisations that have an impact on the community, by encouraging practices in line with the principles of good governance, transparency, institutional organisation and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
The meeting also provided an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the work carried out by the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Sport Club Figueirense, as well as its contributions to strengthening sport and the local community.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
