The programme focuses on supporting local entrepreneurs who are developing sustainable solutions \u2013 ranging from renewable energy to water resource management \u2013 that can be replicated in other island communities. By integrating international mentoring, seed funding and networking with change-makers, the programme creates an ecosystem conducive to the scaling up of climate projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposal is based on three main pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Technical and scientific training<\/strong> \u2013 online workshops and modules focusing on climate modelling, the circular economy and the design of low-carbon products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access to start-up capital<\/strong> \u2013 grants of up to \u20ac50,000 to validate prototypes, run pilot schemes and purchase critical equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Global connectivity<\/strong> \u2013 matchmaking sessions with investors, European universities and NGOs working on climate resilience projects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For entrepreneurs in Cape Verde, taking part in this cohort represents an opportunity to turn environmental challenges into competitive advantages, creating green jobs and improving the quality of life in local communities.
