RISUR 2026 South-South Intellectual Forum (articles and debates)<\/strong> aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, collaboration and the development of new perspectives amongst academics, researchers and professionals from countries in the Global South. This event, centred on the discussion of submitted papers and in-depth debates, aims to act as a catalyst for innovation and for addressing common challenges faced by developing nations. By bringing together brilliant minds from diverse fields of knowledge, RISUR 2026 aims to foster an environment conducive to the generation of disruptive ideas, the consolidation of research networks and the formation of strategic partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The island of Cape Verde, with its rich history of cultural exchange and its privileged geographical location, provides an inspiring setting for this event. The choice of Cape Verde as host underlines the importance of giving a voice and visibility to the perspectives of the Global South within the global academic landscape. The event will feature the presentation of original papers addressing topics relevant to sustainable development, social justice, technological innovation, environmental sciences, the humanities and the arts, amongst other areas. The rigorous selection of papers will ensure the quality of the ensuing debates, stimulating critical reflection and the search for joint solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interactive format of the event will enable participants not only to present their work, but also to engage in fruitful discussions with their peers. Discussion panels, round-table discussions and group work sessions will be organised, enabling participants to explore in depth the issues raised in the papers and to identify areas of convergence and complementarity. The RISUR 2026 South-South Intellectual Meeting is a unique opportunity to strengthen academic and scientific ties between the different regions of the Global South, fostering the production of relevant knowledge that has a direct impact on local realities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
