O World Forum for Democracy 2026 \u2013 Call for Initiatives<\/strong> This forum emerges as a beacon of hope and a crucial platform for revitalizing and strengthening democratic practices globally. Cape Verde, with its rich history of peaceful transition to democracy and its ongoing commitment to democratic values, is ideally positioned to host and contribute significantly to this transformative event. This forum represents a unique opportunity for the exchange of experiences, the sharing of best practices, and the co-creation of innovative solutions to the pressing challenges facing democracies worldwide today, from disinformation and polarization to social and economic inclusion.<\/p>\n

The island, known for its resilience and vibrant civil society, has much to offer to this global dialogue.
