This initiative, promoted by the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) in collaboration with the Armitage Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative (AVMI), aims to empower health professionals and scientists with essential knowledge and skills for vaccine manufacturing, a fundamental pillar for global and regional health security.<\/p>\n<p>Cape Verde has been selected as one of the potential training centers for this. <em>fellowship<\/em> This underscores the country&#039;s commitment to innovation and strengthening its health systems. Participation in this program will enable the acquisition of... <em>know-how<\/em> advanced technical expertise, from the development of <em>inoculos<\/em> ...to the formulation, filling, finishing and quality control processes. Deepening local expertise in this area will not only increase Cape Verde&#039;s resilience to disease outbreaks, but will also contribute to African self-sufficiency in the production of immunobiologicals, reducing external dependence.<\/p>\n<p>The beneficiaries of this <em>fellowship<\/em> They will have the opportunity to work in cutting-edge environments, learning directly from internationally renowned experts. It is expected that the knowledge acquired will subsequently be applied to the creation and development of local vaccine manufacturing infrastructure, thus stimulating scientific research, the creation of skilled jobs, and technology transfer. This investment in human and technological capital is vital to ensuring equitable access to quality vaccines for the Cape Verdean population and the sub-Saharan region.<\/p>\n<p>The long-term vision of this project transcends individual training, aiming to establish a robust vaccine production ecosystem in Cape Verde.
