This annual competition encourages students to be creative while raising public awareness of the need to preserve, protect and restore the world's oceans and aquatic resources, contributing to the main objectives of the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation. O<em>\u00a0Challenge<\/em>\u00a0is open to primary and secondary school students aged 11 to 19, with scholarships of up to US$ 500 awarded to the winning candidates.<br>The Science Without Borders\u00ae Challenge 2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Science Without Borders Challenge\u00a0<em>this year\u00ae<\/em>\u00a0\u00e9<a href=\"https:\/\/www.livingoceansfoundation.org\/education\/science-without-borders-challenge\/learn-about-the-theme\/\"><em>\"The Magic of the Mangroves\".<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>Mangroves are extremely important ecosystems with many benefits. For this year's theme, create a work of art that illustrates the importance of mangroves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Winners of the\u00a0<em>Science Without Borders\u00ae Challenge<\/em>\u00a0will receive the following grants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1st place: $500<\/li><li>2nd place: $350<\/li><li>3rd place: $200<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligibility<br><br>This international art competition is open to all students between the ages of 11 and 19. Students must be enrolled in primary or secondary school, or the equivalent home school.
