This program, funded by the European Union and implemented by GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility), aims to support regional and transregional initiatives that promote the use of open data for environmental decision-making.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Why should Cape Verde take part?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Cape Verde possesses a rich and fragile biodiversity, with endemic species threatened by climate change, urbanization, and human activities.
