A Maracan\u00e3 Cultural and Sports Association<\/strong>, a EFAT (Achada Grande Tr\u00e1s Football School)<\/strong>, a Fidel Mendon\u00e7a Foundation<\/strong> and AISAPH-CV (International Academy of First Aid and Pre-Hospital Care of Cape Verde)<\/strong> recently achieved an unprecedented milestone: they were the first organisations to be certified by the Community365<\/strong>, an initiative that aims to strengthen the social and community sector through sport in Cape Verde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Community365 certification<\/strong> recognises institutions that stand out for excellence in management, measurable social impact, innovation and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>. Being certified is more than a seal of quality - it's an attestation of integrity, responsibility, transparency and commitment to real results for the communities served.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A official presentation of certificates<\/strong> occurred in the past 17th July 2025<\/strong>during the 37th anniversary of the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee<\/strong>. The solemn moment was attended by representatives of the certified organisations, and the certificates were awarded by the President of the Cape Verde Olympic Academy<\/strong>, Orlando Mascarenhas <\/strong>and President of the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee<\/strong>, Filomena Fortes<\/strong> in a symbolic gesture of recognition and encouragement to strengthen the country's social ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"This is an essential step towards strengthening the trust and credibility of the Cape Verdean third sector, promoting organisations that act effectively and with a vision for the future,\" says the programme's coordinators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
