{"id":1403,"date":"2020-12-16T10:51:56","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T11:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wecare.center\/?p=1403"},"modified":"2020-12-16T10:51:58","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T11:51:58","slug":"o-programa-de-competitividade-da-africa-ocidental-wacomp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wecare.center\/en\/bolsas-e-fundos\/o-programa-de-competitividade-da-africa-ocidental-wacomp\/","title":{"rendered":"The West African Competitiveness Programme (WACOMP)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Call for expressions of interest: Identification and selection of entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs in West Africa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of agreed efforts to improve the performance and growth of businesses in ECOWAS countries and strengthen the capacity of business support organisations (BSOs) in the field of entrepreneurship training within the framework of the WACOMP programme, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (CIFOIT) are collaborating to offer a management training and business coaching programme to support BSOs working with entrepreneurs and start-ups at various stages of growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training and coaching programme includes a training of trainers in \"Managing Your GERME Business Better\" in each of the ECOWAS Member States (and Mauritania). The final phase of the training cycle, scheduled to begin in December 2020 in each country in the region, requires national trainers to complete a Training of Entrepreneurs (ToE) to assess their knowledge and training skills.
