During the visit, the president of the Cape Verde Olympic Academy, Orlando Mascarenhas, and the Licensing Manager, Silvana Cabral, presented the programme. <strong>Certification Programme for Organisations using Sport for Social Impact<\/strong>recognising the inspiring work that this association does in the community.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Black Panthers: An Association with History and Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Founded <strong>31 December 1980<\/strong>Black Panthers has been promoting the <strong>football and handball<\/strong> (male and female), providing development opportunities for young talent and fostering values such as discipline, teamwork and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the sporting aspect, the association plays a fundamental social role:<\/p>\n<p>Generate a <strong>children's garden<\/strong> that welcomes <strong>52 children<\/strong> in two shifts, ensuring affordable hot meals every day;<br \/>Manage a <strong>sports board for over 15 years<\/strong>He also organises daily training sessions for young people in the community;<br \/>It is developing a project to create a <strong>football school<\/strong>and reinforcing its impact on youth development.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Certification for Organisations Transforming Lives through Sport<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A <strong>Community365<\/strong> believes in the power of sport to generate positive social change.
