The journalism grants fund in-depth, investigative journalism that breaks new ground and reveals new information about environmental crimes that occur within or across developing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Financing Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Four beneficiaries will each receive 25,000 Norwegian kroner (approximately 2,300 euros).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicants must be a professional journalist, either a member of staff at a media organisation or a freelancer with a record of publication work at respected outlets.<\/li><li>Candidates must have experience in investigative journalism.<\/li><li>Journalists from anywhere in the world are welcome to apply. The programme encourages applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications must be submitted in full by midnight Central European Time (CET) on 22 January 2021. Applications must include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>CV;<\/li><li>3-5 published work samples;<\/li><li>Description of the proposed reporting project, including a plan for obtaining information and a summary of preliminary research or reports;<\/li><li>Estimated budget for the project, explaining what the grant money would pay for;<\/li><li>Estimated timeline for the project;<\/li><li>Publication plan, ideally including a letter of commitment or letter of interest from a media outlet, and an indication of whether you would publish the project in any language other than English;<\/li><li>Names and contact details for three professional references;<\/li><li>Acknowledgement of any other donors or sources of funding for the project, if applicable;<\/li><li>Instruction on how you would operate safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grida.no\/news\/17\">https:\/\/www.grida.no\/news\/17<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A GRID-Arendal est\u00e1 oferecendo subs\u00eddios para projetos de jornalismo investigativo focados em crimes ambientais em pa\u00edses em desenvolvimento.
