The first phase of the Sport Accelerator Lab ended on 8 June in Praia. There were 20 participants, each with a project that uses sport to apply to a business in the sector. The trainees were the winners of the 2023/2024 editions of Sport BootCamp, which took place in Fogo, Brava, Santo Antão, Tarrafal and the city of Praia. 

The first week began with intensive training in Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Event Management, Strategic Organisation, Financial Planning and Marketing Management.

The event concluded with an Open Talk and dinner celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Association of Portuguese-speaking Olympic Committees. ACOLOP.

The participants of the III Sport BootCamp said goodbye to this phase, to start working on their projects with a sense of beginning a challenge and exponentially increasing their network of contacts.

Over the next few months, remote mentoring will continue so that in December, the projects will once again be presented with a strong structure and can become a certainty for their promoters.
