Sport BootCampers Filomena Fortes, Roldeney Fernandes and Teresa Mascarenhas are on the Powerlist100 among the 100 most influential black personalities in Portuguese-speaking countries, chosen by Bantumen and WeCare, and Comunidade365 congratulates them on their work in favour of human development.
Filomena Fortes, also president of the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee and ACOLOP (Association of Portuguese-speaking Olympic Committees), has been a Sport BootCamp trainer for all editions of the programme from 2019 to 2024, and has also mentored many of the successful projects that have emerged from the initiative.
Roldeney Fernandes was one of the graduates of the Sport BootCamp that took place in São Tomé in 2021, who together with André Rosa (also a Sport BootCamper), represent the Judo Global organisation.
Teresa Mascarenhas was the winning Sport BootCamper at this year's 15th edition, which took place in May in the city of Praia. Teresa Mascarenhas and Edmilson Tavares, from the Acarinhar Association, are currently attending the Sport Accelerator Lab with the Praia Acessível/Mar para todos project.
