The Cape Verdean Olympic Academy, together with the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee (COC), will make the public presentation of the Comunidade365 platform next Wednesday, 5 February at the COC headquarters, at 5pm, in Achada de Santo António and via zoom.

This programme aims to validate internal best practices and promote support and training for the network's member organisations based on Good Governance and Community Impact criteria.

The application process for certification is free and represents a seal of quality that can be used to promote projects and seek funding. By fulfilling all the application requirements, members of the network are also in a privileged position to establish new partnerships with other organisations, especially within the programmes of the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee.

The Comunidade365 network promotes social and community development through sport, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. It certifies organisations that demonstrate good practices in governance, community impact, inclusion and sustainability.

This platform is aimed at community leaders, managers, coaches and volunteers from organisations that use sport as a tool for social impact in community work in order to develop projects, services or products in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the International Olympic Committee's Olympism365 strategy.

This programme is funded by the Cape Verde Olympic Academy and the Cape Verde Olympic Committee with the support of the International Olympic Committee, in partnership with Social Innovation Sports and Social Development Hub.
