Registration is officially open for the second edition of Impactar Bootcamp, an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Family, Inclusion and Social Development in partnership with BIC - Business Incubation Centre, WeCare and with the technical and financial support of UNDP Cape Verde.
The central aim of Impactar Bootcamp is to train young entrepreneurs, boosting local entrepreneurship and job creation on the islands of Santo Antão to Brava and in the Cape Verdean diaspora. The programme plans to fund at least 30 innovative projects, with a maximum value of CVE 200,000 per project, directly contributing to the creation of at least 30 jobs.
Young people between the ages of 18 and 35 who have business ideas or small businesses already started can apply. Women, unemployed young people or those from vulnerable groups have priority in this programme. Young people living in the diaspora are also welcome, as long as the project is implemented in Cape Verde.
Participants will have access to specialised training, mentoring, the development of business plans and support in the incubation and financing of their ideas.
