The 4th edition of the Sport Accelerator Lab began on 24 March with the face-to-face phase. It was an intense week of face-to-face training, networking and project development, which culminated on 29 March.

Since then, the trainees have had the opportunity to reformulate their six case studies in the areas of Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Human Resources, Organisational, Financial and Sports Event Organisation.

Now begins the distance mentoring phase, in which each trainee will work until November to present their organisation at the Community Social Fair.

The programme, which has already been to different islands in Cape Verde, continues to establish itself as a platform for training and incubating initiatives that use sport as a tool for social transformation. The online mentoring sessions, led by national and international experts, will support each organisation in the structuring, sustainability and impact of their projects, in a continuous process of learning and evolution.

A Community Social Fair will mark the culmination of this journey, offering organisations the chance to share their ideas with the public, potential partners and funders. The three most outstanding projects will be honoured with financial support for implementation.

With this mentoring phase, the Sport Accelerator Lab reinforces its commitment to promoting community projects based on sport and social innovation, betting on local talent and building sustainable solutions to contemporary social challenges.
