Introduction to the Forum
Far from being mere beneficiaries of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, young people play a vital role in its development. As architects of its frameworks and processes, they continue to be involved in its implementation, monitoring and review. The Decade of Action emphasises the need to accelerate sustainable solutions, making it crucial to include young people in their design and implementation.
Those aspiring to an international career are invited to acquire the skills needed to instigate change and support efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO) invites you to participate in the 2024 edition of its Global Youth Forum, an experiential learning platform that puts young people at the forefront of supporting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
